Polycarbonate-Safe Paint

Polycarbonate is a family of thermoplastics characterized by high-impact strength, light weight, and flexibility. Lexan is a member of the polycarbonate group. Bodies are made of lexan, so the paint you use to paint your car or trucks body must be polycarbonate safe. If it is not (such as Testors model paint), it will crack and chip off easily. Pactra (a division of Testors Inc.) paints are polycarbonate safe and are a popular brand for lexan bodies.
