A weight at the end of the fuel line inside the fuel tank in aircraft. To prevent a stall while flying inverted, gravity pulls the weight down just like it does the fuel so the fuel line is always submerged in the fuel. When a plane is inverted, the clunk will fall to the top of the fuel tank along with the fuel.
