Chicken Stick

A small stick used to flip-start an airplane engine. A chicken stick is much safer than trying to use your hands to start an engine, which would should never do. An alternative is to get an electric starter. Ultimately it is all about preference, but if you're having troubles starting your airplane with a chicken stick it might be best to get an electric starter.
