The rough area of remaining material due to molding or machining. This is usually seen on suspension arms and chassis', and is especially noticeable in graphite parts. A hobby knife can clean up burrs neatly. If there are any burrs on any moving parts, you should clean them up. Burrs can significantly hinder performance.
