A plastic cup that screws on to a tie-rod, shock shaft, or snaps on to a ball stud. Often used in suspension and steering linkages. Depending on the angle the tie-rod or shock is hit at, the cup will pop off rather than breaking so it can be quickly popped back on during a race where time is crucial.
